This is a blu-ray drive for PS3 fat model blu-ray drive. Not intended for the newer Slim or Super Slim models.

All drives are tested fully functional prior to shipping.

This drive does not include a circuit board. You must swap your original circuit board to play games. Please check the pictures to make sure the bottom of your drive matches. If it does not match you can still use this drive but you need to use your old bottom cover. Be sure you're purchasing the proper drive BEFORE you purchase. You CANNOT just drop this drive into your PS3 console and expect it to work--it requires a certain level of skill--you need to re-install the PCB board from your old drive into this new drive. If you do not do this properly, the drive WILL NOT work with your system. Please be sure you know what you are doing and know that you need the drive BEFORE you purchase and DO NOT assume that the drive you received is defective if you cannot get it it work...presume that you are doing something wrong until you exhaust all proper troubleshooting options on your end.

Professional installation is recommended.

Used – Must install your old circuit board No soldering is required.
